Members

The Federation of Northumberland Development Trusts (FoNDT) is an association of members that seeks to build and support the development trust movement in the County of Northumberland.

Development Trusts are community based regeneration organisations which use self-help, trading for social purpose and ownership of buildings and land to bring about long-term social, economic and environmental benefits in their communities. DT’s are value driven organisations which create wealth in communities and keep it there.

FoNDT along with its members have a shared vision and a crucial role to play in meeting the needs and aspirations of the people of Northumberland and this is demonstrated by an impressive members track record in working with their local communities to support local businesses and enhance the lives of local people, whilst delivering these economic, social and environmental benefits to their communities.

FoNDT assists all its members, regardless of status, and encourages all to be active and to develop themselves.

Membership is open to all established and emerging development trusts situated in Northumberland and at the present time, there are 16 Members, which are listed below.
